Harnessing Creativity

Our programs are designed to meet the needs of both children and families through specific goals and objectives. We focus on building off of the strengths of each child, taking advantage of every teachable moment.

As your little one starts his or her learning journey with us we will work with you to make the transition smooth and easy. We foster the daily development of infant minds and bodies.

Art, sensory play, stories, songs, dancing, outside time, and playing with the materials and equipment in the classroom. The teacher is on the floor giving love and hugs, helping the children explore the classroom, and each child is encouraged in their individual development.

Waddlers

They are busy and love to explore, inside and outside! We provide lots of sensory experiences, art, literacy, math, science, stories, and they even do a circle time with their teacher. The Toddlers also have a weekly music lesson with the Northwest Academy of Music, and they perform in the Spring! We are skilled in working with the two-year-old temperament, and offer lots of choices and help them be independent and autonomous.

They love to learn! They have curriculum, and the teacher posts the weekly lesson plans for parents to see. It is all about Pre-K preparation! They have science, math, literacy, art and sensory experiences on a daily basis, and the curriculum is theme based. They have a weekly music lesson with the Northwest Academy of Music and perform in the Spring. The Preschoolers are learning how to use their words instead of acting out, and they are learning to do almost everything for themselves, and the teacher is great at facilitating and encouraging this awesome social/emotional development!

They kept busy getting ready for a successful start at Kindergarten! This class is rich in learning and hands-on experiences. They use workbooks called Handwriting Without Tears to learn how to properly write upper and lowercase letters and numbers, and the teacher posts her weekly lesson plans for parents to see. We work with what the CDA School District wants the children to know when starting Kindergarten, and we perform a kindergarten readiness assessment in the Spring to make sure all students are on track. The children have a weekly music lesson with the Northwest Academy of Music, and they perform at our Pre-K graduation in the Spring.
